Looks Ready!
In this section, we will guide you through the process of determining the perfect time to harvest, harvesting your crop correctly, and properly curing your bud to give you a perfect final product.
01
Flush It Out
Harvesting cannabis buds can be a rewarding experience. To ensure the highest quality buds, the plants should be carefully monitored and harvested at the right time. We recommend flushing your plants out for 2 weeks before harvesting. In this process, your plant uses up any amount of nutrients previously absorbed. The result will be buds with better flavor and aroma. The excess of fertilizer in your Cannabis plant may result in buds that are harsh to the throat when smoked. It is important to wait until the trichomes on the buds are milky and the pistils on the buds are brown and curled.
02
Drying Time
After harvesting the buds, they should be hung to dry in a dark, well-ventilated area. The plants should hang for about 7 days, or until the leaves are dry and easily broken off.
03
The Cure
Once the buds are sufficiently dry, they should be cured in airtight containers for several weeks. This will help to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoids in the buds, resulting in a better flavor and higher potency. Every few days you will "burp" your container by opening it briefly to release air. We recommend trimming your bud after curing.
